Coach Jaime grew up in Gilroy, California. She participated in many activities as a kid including gymnastics, softball, soccer, choir, swimming, diving, synchronized swimming, and church youth group. Her favorite of them all was swimming.

Jaime swam for the Gilroy Gators as a young swimmer and went on to swim for Gilroy High School, and De Anza College. Her best events were the 100 Fly, 100 Back, and 200 IM. Jaime's coaching career started in 1996 with De Anza Cupertino Aquatics. While at DACA she coached the Maroon, Green and Purple Groups made up of nine to thirteen year old C, B, A, and AA swimmers. During her time at DACA she assisted Coach Dave with the Blue and Gold Groups which included an Olympic Trials Qualifier, National Age Group record holders and numerous Far Westerns Champions. Jaime served as the Pre-Competitive Swimming Director from 2001-2003 and the Assistant Director from 1998 to 2000. She was one of the key ingredients to the growth and success of the DACA Age Group program while working with the Emerald, Ruby and Sapphire groups.

Jaime loves to work with swimmers of all ages and abilities, helping improve technique, endurance, racing strategy, and times. Jaime and her husband of almost a year, live happily in Campbell.

Jaime will be working with swimmers at PCC and Sequoia.
